Our Mission: Team Buche Cares strengthens rural and tribal communities by addressing hunger, providing help in times of need, and investing in education.
Team Buche Cares is a 501(c)3 non-profit working closely with the G.F. Buche Company.When RF Buche, President of the G.F. Buche Company and Founder of Team Buche Cares, was a small child in his dad’s grocery store, he watched as a young neighbor mother could not pay for the food items in her cart.
He observed his father quietly pay for the balance and offer a lesson, “When you’re in this business, it’s our moral obligation to make sure no family goes hungry. That’s what we do”
RF has always remembered that lesson and still carries it with him today in Team Buche Cares: an initiative to help families in need, make sure no one goes hungry, show up for community initiatives, and offer meaningful change on behalf of the communities they serve.

In July, Buche Foods and Pass Creek Tribal Council Representative of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, Anna Halverson collaborated to launch the Summer Food Program, which fed 28,000 children across the nine districts of the Pine Ridge Reservation.
